Can Bowen be performed through clothes?
Yes, Bowen is still highly effective though thin clothing although jeans and tight clothing make it difficult to perform the moves and are best avoided.
What can Bowen treat?

Can my horse be ridden straight after a Bowen treatment? This is not advisable. It is recommended to give your horse at least the day following a Bowen treatment off. The first day back in work should preferably be gentle exercise. The less interference in the first couple of days, the better the result will be.
I have two horses and my friend, on the same yard, has one, do we qualify for multiple horse discount? Yes, certainly. As long as the horses are on the same yard and treated in the same visit they will qualify for dicounts.
My horse has been drinking more water since his Bowen treatment, is this normal? Yes, this is perfectly normal. Your horse may drink more water up to several days after treatment. Bowen can act as a detox helping release any build up of lactic acid. By drinking more water your horse is helping this detoxification process. For this reason you may also find his dropping change colour and texture after a Bowen session.
